TFN’s Run 4 Roses Basketball Tournament returns to Louisville

One of the largest girls basketball tournaments is back.

TFN’s Run 4 Roses returns to Louisville’s Kentucky Exposition Center July 5 – 8. The tournament will feature 890 teams as well as more than 9,000 athletes and 1,000 college coaches.

“Louisville has become an affordable and central hub for hosting youth amateur sporting events in basketball, volleyball and archery among others. The Kentucky Exposition Center’s over 1.2 million square feet of versatile space affords us the opportunity to host large-scale tournaments like Run 4 Roses,” Karen Williams, President & CEO of the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, said.

Teams from across the world will take part including the Bahamas, Canada and Poland; there will also be teams representing 42 states. They will play 79 courts spread across the Exposition Center in a battle for supremacy.

“The 2018 version of Run 4 Roses will be the largest youth basketball in the history of basketball Under 1 Roof. The city of Louisville has embraced our teams and families with the warmest hospitality we have ever experienced. Having expanded to Europe and the Caribbean shows the global reach of our brand and the draw of Louisville.”
