Maybe you’re rushing around trying to get last-minute gifts or picking out those cute Valentine’s Day cards for your kids to take to school, either way, there’s a lot to do for Valentine’s Day and only a few days to do it.
Finding the perfect spot to eat may take a little effort.
Some restaurants around town are booked already, but Waffle House is taking reservations. They’re open for 24 hours on Valentine’s Day and taking reservations now. You’ll be able to order off their regular menu, but they’ll also have some holiday-themed specials that they’re calling “love at first bite.”
And it doesn’t get much sweeter than this. Starting Wednesday the Kentucky Humane Society will offer Puppy Cuddle Grams.
If you donate $150 to the Humane Society a volunteer will bring a puppy to your loved one’s home, or business, for a 30-minute snuggle session. The visit also includes a personalized card and treats.
And let’s face it, not everyone loves Valentine’s Day. If you’re going through a breakup and need a little closure how about naming a cockroach after your ex.
For just $5 the San Antonio Zoo in Texas will name a roach after your ex then feed it to an animal and you can watch the entire thing online. You can do the same thing at the El Paso Zoo except it’s free.
