Thunder Over Louisville: Air Show schedule announced

On Saturday, more than 100,000 people will head to areas along the Ohio River to celebrate the official kickoff to the Kentucky Derby Festival.

Festivities at Waterfront Park begin at 11 a.m. with the Thunder Chow Wagon, Meijer Family Fun Zone, Ford’s Thunder on the Ground and other activities.

The event will wrap up with a Zambelli fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
