A well-known restaurant in the Highlands is preparing to reopen its doors after closing less than three months ago to the disappointment of regular guests.
Uptown Café, located at 1624 Bardstown Road, will reopen in the spring.
On its Facebook page, the restaurant cryptically teased its upcoming plans with a simple image.

“Great news! Uptown Café will be reopening soon!” the post reads with a similar caption saying it will return in the spring.
An exact date was not given nor was any further information provided.
The restaurant was founded in 1985 by Nancy Shepherd, who died in 2016. Her daughter then took over the business.
Uptown Café’s initial closure was announced in the fall, and it shut down on Nov. 28.
