World of Beer serving free burgers to vaccinated customers on April 7

The coronavirus pandemic and everything that came with it has left the Louisville area vulnerable and clinging to any sense of normalcy. Now that vaccines are available to much of the public, World of Beer is applauding those who have gotten their shot by feeding them for free.

The restaurant’s new Black n’ Blue Burger is being offered to all customers with proof of their vaccination on April 7 free of charge as part of the chain’s “Vaccinated Eat Free” program.

It was launched in February at select locations but has since been expanded.

“2020 was a year that we all are ready to move on from, and we are thrilled to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel,” James Buell, the World of Beer chief brand and innovation officer, said. “What better way to celebrate and spread a little joy than to offer up our newest burger for free to anyone who has been fortunate enough to receive a life-saving vaccine. Let the healing begin!”
