Second Big Bad Breakfast opening in Louisville this summer

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (DERBY CITY WEEKEND) - Big Bad Breakfast will be opening a second location in Louisville this summer.

The brunch spot will be opening in the former Corbett’s: An American Place at 5050 Norton Healthcare Boulevard in east Louisville, according to a press release.

The opening is scheduled for late summer, only months after the first location opened in the former Lynn’s Paradise Cafe building on Barrett Avenue.

“It is fitting that our second location will be in an iconic property such as Corbett’s: An American Place,” Steve Ritchie, founder and CEO of Endeavor Restaurant Group said in a release. “Dean Corbett was a talented chef, successful restaurateur, and pioneer in the farm-to-table movement. It is because of folks like Lynne Winter and Dean that we have such a thriving culinary community.”

The restaurant will feature breakfast and lunch staples by James Beard award-winning chef John Currence, and will feature a vibrant atmosphere similar to the Highlands location.
